An Urban Hike up Bernal Hill

This summer my friend Grace and I walked up to Bernal Hill, one of the 14 in San Francisco, a special urban openspace only a few blocks from my house. As we climbed the steps through the Esmeralda gardens and approached the hill, the moon was just rising above it, full and glowing. Grace said how beautiful it was "rolling along the horizon." I know this was not the kind of rolling she meant. If the moon was rolling, it was going up not along the horizon. This, however, is what I saw in my mind; almost just like this.
